Urgent appeal issued as Irish EuroMillions player has just two days to claim €50,000 prize

A EuroMillions player in Cork only has two days left to claim a massive €50,000 prize in the ‘Ireland Only Raffle’.

In the Turner Cross area of Cork city, the National Lottery is appealing to EuroMillions players to check their old tickets from the draw on Tuesday 13 December.

A ticketholder has 90 days to claim his or her prize after the draw date.

Brief summary

In Cork City, O’Hare’s Mace at Turners Cross sold the winning Normal Play ticket on Sunday, 11 December.

On Tuesday 13th December, NPZ88051 – NPZ88052 were the winning raffle codes in the EuroMillions ‘Ireland Only Raffle’ draw.

On Wednesday 15th March, close of business is the deadline for claiming this prize.

In order to meet the deadline of Wednesday (15th March), O’Hare’s Mace store at Turners Cross in Cork City has urged its customers to check their tickets.

“It’s a popular local shop on the outskirts of Cork City and we’re confident that the vast majority of our customers are from the local community,” he said.

O’Hare’s Mace’s Sheila O’Driscoll and Martin Drummey urge their clients to check their old lottery tickets before Wednesday (15th March) deadline for a €50,000 EuroMillions Plus prize.

“After all this time, the prize has not been claimed. There was a lot of excitement locally when it was won back in December. Fergus O’Hare, Group Operations Manager at O’Hare’s Mace store in Turners Cross in Cork City, requests that his customers make sure they have checked their tickets despite Wednesday’s deadline (15th March).

This unclaimed prize is the talk of the town at the moment. No one knows it’s there.

The store will do its best to ensure everyone in the area checks their old tickets to see if they won the €50,000 prize in the next few days, he said.
