Michael V wants Vice Ganda to be a part of ‘Bubble Gang’

Fans have long wondered about the possibility of having Michael V and Vice Ganda in one frame, particularly on one of TV’s longest-running comedy shows, Bubble Gang.

Michael V teased fans last week by saying he wanted Vice Ganda to appear on their gag show.  The show is moving to a new time slot, and he was asked who he would like to join them.  Sundays at 6 p.m. begin July 9 for “Bubble Gang.”

His response to the question during the show’s recent press conference was “Si Vice Ganda.”. During our last meeting, when we spoke, Vice Ganda said in a clear voice, “[Sana] makapag-guest ako sa Bubble Gang”,” he said.

Michael, who is also the show’s creative director, told Vice Ganda he’d like to incorporate one of his famous characters, Mr. Assimo, into a skit.

The character of Mr. Assimo is one of my favorite, recurring sketches as he is a sarcastic, abrasive character who likes to rub the obvious to prove his point.  Michael V said, “Sana matuloy, so far.”.

Cheska Fausto, EA Guzman, and Buboy Villar are among the new cast members apart from a new time slot. Bubble Gang used to air every Friday after the last show on GMA Telebabad at late night before moving to a new time slot.
