It’s Showtime and E.A.T. are expected to take down Eat Bulaga’s ratings

Isko Moreno, host of “Eat Bulaga,” said that he expects rival noontime shows, “E.A.T.” and “It’s Showtime,” to lead in ratings thanks to the show’s drama.

The intense rivalry in the noontime slot will benefit the artists, Isko said in a recent interview with “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda.”

“Well, that makes sense considering all the hype, drama over the past few weeks and days,” Isko replied.

He pointed out that, if there was a buffet like in this case, the galing of the artists would be open to all, because there may be a kumpitensiya.

The average minute rating for “E.A.T.” was 8.4 percent on Nielsen NUTAM Overnight Data while “It’s Showtime” racked up 3.94 percent on three different channels and “Eat Bulaga” was 2.62 percent.

Furthermore, Isko said noontime show hosts shouldn’t hate one another when competing.

It is better not to create hate and expect somebody to favor you to go up, so he said, “kumbaga, parang ang point ko, not to create some hatred and expect somebody to favor you.”

It should be a source of pride that we are able to have such a good number of viewers ngayon. So, there are a lot of options to choose from. The noontime shows offer great opportunities for viewers,” he added.
