Hotshots’ bubble is pricked by bolts

The PBA on Tour returns to Meralco with the hope of stopping Magnolia’s juggernaut.

Bolts (4-2) play first pre-season game of the season at Filoil EcoOil Center in San Juan today looking to end Hotshots’ perfect 6-0 record.

With the momentum gained from their 108-90 romp over TNT, Luigi Trillo’s charges are looking to have a similar result against the Hotshots in tonight’s matchup.

Getting the last game was crucial since it showed how much we care for the susunod na kalaban, Trillo said.

A strong performance from the key players combined with the second unit’s leveled-up play has allowed the Hotshots to gain a firm hold on pole position so far.

A 125-89 thrashing of NorthPort last Friday extended Chito Victolero’s unbeaten streak to three games.

Jerrick Ahanmisi, who led the Warriors to victory No. 6 with 23 points on a 5-of-7 shoot from deep, said, “We are taking the PBA On Tour seriously.”
