Bucks rebound against Raptors behind Antetokounmpo and Lopez

Milwaukee Bucks beat Toronto Raptors 118-111 in Los Angeles on Sunday (Monday, Manila time) behind a triple-double from Giannis Antetokounmpo and a huge fourth quarter from Brook Lopez.

At the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, the Eastern Conference leaders got back on track after being jolted by Indiana on Thursday. As the third quarter came to a close, Toronto led by eight, but Lopez scored 17 of his 26 points in the final period to give Milwaukee a victory.

Milwaukee improved to 51-20 at the top of the Eastern Conference, 2.5 games ahead of the 76ers, who played well in the final minutes. Antetokounmpo had 22 points, 13 rebounds, and 10 assists as the Bucks improved to 51-20. 23 points were scored by Fred VanVleet for Toronto. As well as this game, Austin Reaves scored 35 points as the Los Angeles Lakers defeated Orlando 111-105 in other games on Sunday.

Friday’s loss to the Mavs left the Lakers underwhelmed after they were battling for a postseason berth in the Western Conference.

With just two minutes and 39 seconds left, the Magic looked like they might repeat history. However, Reaves took over in the final ten minutes to lift the Lakers into the playoffs.

Reaves said afterward, “I’m glad we won.”. It is crucial that we win throughout the season. Whether we’re able to be one of the best teams in the league depends on how we approach the game. “

Los Angeles Clippers defeated the Portland Trail Blazers 117-102 in Portland to dent their playoff push. Kawhi Leonard scored 24 points, while Paul George finished with 29.

How to Losing momentum for the Blazers

After the loss, Portland falls three spots out of the play-in positions to 13th place in the Western Conference. The Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the Phoenix Suns with a second-half rally sparked by Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s 40 points.

The Thunder overcame a 15-point first-half deficit to complete a 124-120 victory behind Gilgeous-Alexander’s 12-of-24 shooting from the field. He also drained 16-of-19 free throws.

Gilgeous-Alexander contributed 10 points to the Thunder’s win after the Thunder trailed by 10 points early in the fourth quarter.

The Thunder improved to 35-36 in the Western Conference and are eighth in the Western Conference after the win.  There are only a handful of games between a swath of West playoff contenders, including Phoenix, which remains in fourth place with a 38-33 record.

A steely OKC defense in the second half led Phoenix to only three players scoring in double figures despite Booker’s 46 points.

In the end, Gilgeous-Alexander credited the entire team for the success. Our game plan worked, and we achieved a “W” despite some adversity. Meanwhile, the Denver Nuggets won 108-102 on the road against the Brooklyn Nets with Nikola Jokic’s 28th triple-double of the season.

In addition to Porter Jr.’s 28 points, Jamal Murray scored 25 for Denver. A 126-118 Spurs victory over the visiting Atlanta Hawks was led by 29 points from Keldon Johnson and Devin Vassell.
