Bianca Pagdanganan on missing US Open cut

In Mesa, Arizona, Bianca Pagdanganan won a two-stroke contest against American Kathleen Scavo at the Longbow Golf Club, marking the beginning of her Epson Tour campaign.
When the $200,000 IOA Championship begins Thursday in Beaumont, California, the power-hitting Filipina ace hopes for a better showing.
Pagdanganan blasts to a 303-yard norm off the mound after bowing out of contention with a third round 74, but misses seven fairways on his way there. Her putting was superb, ending with 25 putts, despite 11 attempts to go out of regulation on the way to the green.
In his first round, the ICTSI-backed ace shot 69, sparked by an inspiring first round 35 to total 288, while stumbling with six bogeys and four miscues.
In addition, Guce scored a 74 and finished 56th with an aggregate of 291.
Del Rosario’s campaign will only launch in California while Ardina and Arevalo failed to make it.
While Scavo, who ran out of holes in her comeback attempt in the $335,000 event, shot a solid 68 for an 18-under 270 total and a two-shot win over Ruffels.
From No. 14, Scavo made three consecutive birdies for a 68 and a 272.
